Mod Kit for Fluval Spec 2.6G & 5G Aquariums

Aquameta Fluval Spec 2.6G & 5G Mod Kit includes Fluval Spec Intake Guard, Spray bar (standard or adjustable multi-directional) and the Intake Plug. This kit is designed for both Fluval Spec III (2.6 gallon) and Fluval Spec V (5 gallon).

The filter intake guard will prevent small aquarium fish, shrimp, and other small inhabitants from getting suctioned into the rear filter chamber. These guards provide an OEM style snap fit onto the intake slots of the Fluval Spec III and Spec V. The screens are removable for ease of cleaning and swappable for future flexibility. The screen doors feature a 0.5mm gap, which is small enough to prevent even the smallest fish and shrimp from accidently entering the rear chambers while retaining the same flow rate.

The Spec series spray bar provides even flow spread between 7 output holes to ensure the best water circulation throughout the tank. It also features a detachable bar for easy access to cleaning as well as OEM-like snap fit joint with full range of motion. The Adjustable Nozzle Spray Bar also offers fully adjustable individual nozzles for multi-directional spray control. Select style between the Standard Spray Bar or the Adjustable Nozzle Spray Bar for the application that works best in your system. The total length of the spray bar measures 4.7" (12cm), including the connector piece.

The Intake Plug will prevent small inhabitants from being sucked into the back filter chamber, it features a precise fit into the slot.
