Aquameta Filter Intake Guards for the Fluval Flex 9G (34L) and Flex 15G (57L) aquariums.
The filter intake guard will prevent small aquarium fish, shrimp, and other small inhabitants from getting suctioned into the rear filter chamber. These guards provide an OEM style snap fit onto the intake slots of the Fluval Flex 9G or 15G. The screens are removable for ease of cleaning and swappable for future flexibility. The screen doors feature a 0.5mm gap, which is small enough to prevent even the smallest fish and shrimp from accidently entering the rear chambers while retaining the same flow rate.
A set comes with 2 intake guards, one each for the top and bottom intakes. Additional quick-swap screens are available for quick swap during maintenance.
