Aquameta Filter Intake Guard for Fluval Canister Filter FX2/FX4/FX6.
Tired of cleaning pre-filter sponges multiple times a week? The filter intake guards not only prevent small aquarium fish, shrimp, and other small inhabitants from getting suctioned into the filter, but also reduces the amount of cleaning required. These guards provide an OEM style snug fit onto the original FX series intake tube of the Fluval FX2/FX4/FX6 filters.
This intake guard is slightly larger than the OEM intake strainer that comes with the FX series filters.
The intake guard dimensions are: 5.5" x 2.75" x 2" (14cm x 7cm x 5cm). The guard features mesh opening holes of 2.5mm for a balanced protection and uninterrupted water flow.
