Aquaclear Filter Intake Guards for Aquaclear 20/30/50/70/110.

Tired of cleaning pre-filter sponges multiple times a week? The filter intake guards not only prevent small aquarium fish, shrimp, and other small inhabitants from getting suctioned into the filter, but also reduces the amount of cleaning required. These guards provide an OEM style snug fit onto the original intake tube of the Aquaclear filters.

Two sizing are available depending on the filter model. The small fits into Aquaclear 20, Aquaclear 30 or Aquaclear 50, while the large fits into the Aquaclear 70, and Aquaclear 110. Choose from 1.5mm or 2.0mm mesh opening holes depending on the sizes of the inhabitants in the system.

Remarks:
While 1.5mm holes are better to protect smaller inhabitants, it also requires more cleaning as debris in your system will also be collected by the intake guard.
